I DECLARATION OF INTEREST
Mrs Clelland declared a non-financial interest in respect of Article II by virtue of having a relative affected by the Accessibility Strategy.
II ACCESSIBILITY STRATEGY 2013/2016
There was submitted Report No 150-2013 by the Director of Education seeking approval for the Education Departments Accessibility Strategy covering the period 2013/2016.
The Committee approved the Strategy for 2013/2016.
III CURRICULUM FOR EXCELLENCE - PROGRESS REPORT
There was submitted Report No 151-2013 by the Director of Education updating the Committee on the implementation of the national Curriculum for Excellence programme in schools.
The Committee noted the report and instructed the Director of Education to continue to provide regular updates on the implementation of the Curriculum for Excellence.
