I DECLARATION OF INTEREST
No declarations of interest were made.
II PROVISION OF FUNDING SUPPORT TO PRINCES TRUSTS FAIRBRIDGE PROGRAMME IN DUNDEE
There was submitted Report No 277-2012 by the Director of Education seeking approval to award funding to support the work carried out by the Prince's Trust's Fairbridge Programme in Dundee in supporting young people who are excluded or at risk of exclusion from school.
The Committee approved funding of 10,000 to the Prince's Trust in Dundee for the financial year 2012/2013.
III PROCUREMENT OF SCHOOL TRANSPORT
There was submitted Report No 303-2012 by the Director of Education and Head of Transportation detailing tenders received for the provision of home to school transport.
In view of the timescales involved it was noted that this report had been approved by the Head of Education (Secondary and Support for Learners) and Head of Transportation in consultation with the Depute Convener, spokesperson for the Labour Group and the Conservative, Liberal Democrat and Independent members, and was therefore submitted for information and record purposes.
