I VALEDICTORY

This being the last meeting of the City Development Committee prior to the retiral of Doug Grimmond, Director of Economic Development, the Convener and Committee paid tribute to his service as Director and wished him well in his retirement.

The Committee resolved under Section 50(A)(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 that the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the undernoted items of business on the grounds that they involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 6 of Part I of Schedule 7A of the Act.

II COMMERCIAL LEASES

There was submitted and approved Report No 249-2009 by the Director of Economic Development detailing commercial leases in respect of the undernoted premises:-

181-183 Perth Road

14 Marybank Lane

Store at Lochee Park Pavilion, Ancrum Road

III RENT REVIEWS

There was submitted and approved Report No 250-2009 by the Director of Economic Development detailing rent reviews in respect of the undernoted premises:-

12 West Port

Unit 2, Logie Avenue

Land at Liff Road (1.70 ha)

IV PROPOSED SALE OF LAND AT 43 KINGSWAY PLACE

There was submitted Report No 247-2009 by the Director of Economic Development seeking approval for the sale of land to east and west of 43 Kingsway Place.

The Committee approved the sale on the terms and conditions detailed.

V PROPOSED SALE OF LAND AT 38 CERES CRESCENT

There was submitted Report No 248-2009 by the Director of Economic Development seeking approval for the sale of land to the south east of 38 Ceres Crescent.
