Unless marked thus * all items stand delegated.
I GLENESK PARK, BALFIELD ROAD
There was submitted Agenda Note AN27-2009 advising that a site extending to 1.558 ha in Balfield Road, Dundee was leased to Dundee Violet Junior Football Club.
The tenants were proposing to hold a family fun day on Saturday, 20th June, 2009, which would include performances by ten local bands, cheerleading, magicians, face painting, beat the goalie as well as food and drink provision. It was intended that all proceeds from the event would be donated to Wards 23 (a) and (b) of the Neurosurgery Unit at Ninewells Hospital. Ticket sales would be limited to 500.
The organisers were liaising with the Licensing Department, Emergency Planning Officer, Environmental Health, Trading Standards and Tayside Police regarding the event.
The lease restricted the use of the football ground for football matches, sports meetings and other events of a recreational nature. However, due to the charitable nature of the event, members were requested that the event be permitted subject to any conditions imposed by the Licensing Department, Emergency Planning Officer, Environmental Health, Trading Standards and Tayside Police.
The Committee approved accordingly.
The Committee resolved under Section 50(A)(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 that the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the undernoted items of business on the grounds that they involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 6 and 9 of Part I of Schedule 7A of the Act.

The Committee noted that the annual rental was not subject to review after three years as previously reported.
V GROUND EXTENDING TO 1.70 HA LIFF ROAD - VARIATION OF LEASE
There was submitted Agenda Note AN29-2009 advising that a request had been received to vary the terms of the lease of ground at the above location.
