Like all Fairer Scotland Fund projects, Brooksbank was currently operating under a Service Level Agreement and was well on its way to meeting its targets.
The Brooksbank project was going from strength to strength and on Thursday, 4th December, 2008, the project won the Scottish Urban Regeneration Forum Award in the "Partnerships Category", one of three top awards for Regeneration in Scotland.

V OUTDOOR ACCESS IMPROVEMENT WORKS
There was submitted Agenda Note AN10-2009, whereby reference was made to Article XI of the Leisure, Arts and Communities Committee of 8th December, 2008, whereby approval was given for Outdoor Access Improvement works along the Green Circular route and the Broughty Ferry dunes.
To increase the benefits of this work approval was sought to extend the existing contracts awarded to T & N Gilmartin (Contractors) Ltd to extend the restoration of the Green Circular into Templeton Woods and to an adjoining path in Camperdown Country Park using tendered rates up to a maximum value of 20,000 and extend the existing contract in respect of the restoration of the fenced area at Broughty Ferry awarded to Willow and Wood Ltd using tendered rates to a maximum of 3,500.
The Committee approved the above amendments to the existing contracts, having noted that the expenditure would be met through the Leisure and Community Department's 2008/2009 Capital Budget, of which 50,000 was targeted towards Outdoor Access Improvements.
