In the case of application numbers 1 and 2, after having been advised by the Clerk that the applicants had not paid the required fee for their applications, the Committee agreed that the applications be considered incompetent.

 

In the case of application numbers 3, 6, 7 and 9, after having heard an agent on behalf of the applicants and receipt of assurances that they would join the Taxi Licence renewal scheme operated by the Council, the Committee agreed that the applications be granted and that the policy in relation to the placing in service an accessible vehicle be disapplied to enable the licence holders to continue operating their own vehicles.

 

In the case of application numbers 4, 5 and 8, after having heard the applicants on their own behalf and receipt of assurances that they would join the Taxi Licence renewal scheme operated by the Council, the Committee agreed that the applications be granted and that the policy in relation to the placing in service an accessible vehicle be disapplied to allow the applicants to continue using their own vehicles.
