I QUARTERLY MONITORING REPORT ON PROGRESS WITH STRATEGIC PLANS

Councillor Guild declared a financial interest in this item by virtue of his registration as a landlord.

There was submitted Report No 187-2008 by the Assistant Chief Executive (Community Planning) advising the Sub-Committee on progress with the objectives, projects and reviews contained in the Council's strategic plans.

The Sub-Committee noted the report and the issues that arose from the Exception Report which was introduced in Section 9 of the report, as detailed in the Appendices.

II STATUTORY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS 2007/2008 - PERFORMANCE REPORT FOR THE NINE MONTHS TO 31ST DECEMBER, 2007

There was submitted Report No 181-2008 by the Head of Finance advising the Sub-Committee of the performance of Dundee City Council for the nine months to 31st December, 2007, as defined by the Statutory Performance Indicators.

The Sub-Committee noted that performance levels in the first nine months of the financial year had generally been maintained or improved.

The Sub-Committee further noted that all Chief Officers should review the contents of Appendix 1 to the report as it related to their service, and consider if there were any indicators for which performance could be improved.
