I STATUTORY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS 2007/2008 - PERFORMANCE REPORT FOR HALF YEAR TO 30TH SEPTEMBER, 2007

There was submitted Report No 585-2007 by the Head of Finance advising Sub-Committee members of the performance of Dundee City Council for the six months to 30th September, 2007, the first half of the current financial year, as defined by the Statutory Performance Indicators.

The Sub-Committee noted that performance levels in the first half of the new financial year had generally been maintained or improved.

The Sub-Committee further noted that all Chief Officers would review the contents of Appendix 1 to the report as it related to their services, and consider if there were any indicators for which performance could be improved.

II QUARTERLY PROJECT AND PERFORMANCE REPORTING

There was submitted Report No 643-2007 by the Assistant Chief Executive (Community Planning), informing Sub-Committee members of proposals for quarterly reporting to the Sub-Committee on progress with the projects and performance indicators included in the Council's key strategic plans.

The Sub-Committee noted the work underway to prepare for quarterly reporting on projects and performance and agreed the timetable for reports in March, June, September and December each year.
