Door Stewards Registration Sub-committee - 15/01/2007

At a MEETING of the DOOR STEWARDS REGISTRATION SUB-COMMITTEE OF THE DUNDEE CITY LICENSING BOARD held at Dundee on 15th January, 2007.

This was the last meeting of the Door Stewards Registration Sub-Committee as its function would transfer to the Security Industry Authority with effect from 1st February, 2007. The Chairman thanked members and officers for their contributions to the Sub-Committee.

 

I LICENSING (SCOTLAND) ACT 1976 - REGULAR EXTENSION - APPLICATION FOR DOOR STEWARD REGISTRATION (PROVISIONAL)

 

(a) There was submitted an application from Mr A W for provisional registration as a door steward.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to that application.

 

Thereafter, having noted that the applicant was not present and having heard from the Chief Constable's representative, the Sub-Committee agreed to refuse the application.

 

(b) There was submitted an application from Mr GJMcG for provisional registration as a door steward.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to the application.

 

Thereafter, having heard the applicant on their own behalf and from the Chief Constable's representative, the Sub-Committee agreed to grant the application.

 

(c) There was submitted an application from Mr BGMcG for provisional registration as a door steward.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to the application.

 

Thereafter, having noted that the applicant was not present and having heard from the Chief Constable's representative, the Sub-Committee agreed to refuse the application.

 

(d) There was submitted an application from Mr RS being an application for provisional registration as a door steward.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter from the Chief Constable relative to the above application.

 

Thereafter, having noted that the applicant was not present and having heard from the Chief Constable's representative, the Sub-Committee agreed to refuse the application.

 

(e) There was submitted an application from Mr SR being an application for provisional registration as a door steward.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter from the Chief Constable relative to the above application.

 

Thereafter, having noted that the applicant was not present and having heard from the Chief Constable's representative, the Sub-Committee agreed to refuse the application.

 

(f) There was submitted an application from Mr JB being an application for provisional registration as a door steward.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter from the Chief Constable relative to the above application.

 

Having heard from the applicant on their own behalf and from the Chief Constable's representative, the Sub-Committee agreed to refuse the application.

 

(g) There was submitted an application from Mr MT for provisional registration as a door steward.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter which had been submitted by the Chief Constable.

 

Thereafter, having noted that the applicant was not present and having heard from the Chief Constable's representative, the Sub-Committee agreed to refuse the application.

 

(h) There was submitted, an application from Mr SD for provisional registration as a door steward.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter which had been submitted by the Chief Constable.

 

Thereafter, having noted that the applicant was not present and having heard from the Chief Constable's representative, the Sub-Committee agreed to refuse the application.

 

II REVOCATION HEARINGS

 

(a) The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter submitted by the Chief Constable relevant to the conduct of Mr AW.

 

Thereafter, having heard that the licence holder was not present and having heard from the Chief Constable's representative, the Sub-Committee agreed to revoke the licence.

 

(b) The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter submitted by the Chief Constable relevant to the conduct of Mr JR.

 

Thereafter, having heard that the licence holder was not present and having heard from the Chief Constable's representative, the Sub-Committee agreed to revoke the licence.

 

(c) The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter submitted by the Chief Constable relevant to the conduct of Mr ES.

 

Thereafter, having heard that the licence holder was not present and having heard from the Chief Constable's representative, the Sub-Committee agreed to revoke the licence.
