I SUB-CONTRACTORS AND SUPPLY OF MATERIALS
There was submitted Report No 350-2006 by the Director of Dundee Contract Services listing Sub-Contractors and Suppliers of Materials to Dundee Contract Services for the value of 10,000 and over.
The Committee noted the report.
II DUNDEE CONTRACT SERVICES SERVICE PLAN PERFORMANCE REPORT
There was submitted Report No 349-2006 by the Director of Dundee Contract Services informing the Committee of the progress made towards achieving the aims and objectives set out in the Dundee Contract Services Service Plan 2003-2007.
The Committee noted the performance set out in the report.
III GARDEN MAINTENANCE SERVICE SURVEY
There was submitted Report No 363-2006 by the Director of Dundee Contract Services informing the Committee of the results of a survey of users of the Garden Maintenance Service delivered by Dundee Contract Services.
The Committee noted the high level of satisfaction reported by users of the service.
IV HILLTOWN PARK - APPLICATION FOR USE
There was submitted Agenda Note AN211-2006 informing the Committee that a request had been received from the organisers of the Hilltown Festival for use of the park on Saturday, 26th August, 2006. The festival would include the grand opening of the newly landscaped park along with various events.
The Committee granted permission for use of the park subject to the necessary insurances being provided indemnifying the Council against damage to property, injury or loss of life etc to members of the public and in addition any services being provided by the Department being paid for by the applicant.
