The Convener agreed that the undernoted item be considered as a matter of urgency in terms of Standing Order No 17(b) in view of the timescales involved.
I DUNDEE HOUSE - APPOINTMENT OF LEAD CONSULTANT
On a reference to Article X of the minute of meeting of this Committee of 12th September, 2005, there was submitted Report No 332-2006 by the Depute Chief Executive (Finance) advising the Committee of the outcome of the Dundee House Project Board interviews for Lead Consultant.
The Committee agreed to appoint Reiach and Hall, Architects, as the Lead Consultant for this Project, it being noted that the fee payable would be 8.65% of the construction cost and at a projected construction cost of 20m it would be 1.73m. The Committee noted that this fee would cover not only the fee payable to Reiach and Hall, but also that of the associated sub-consultants that they would appoint.
