I PROPERTY SURPLUS TO REQUIREMENTS - STANDARDS HOUSE

There was submitted Agenda Note AN176-2006 reporting that Standards House, Strathmore Avenue, Dundee was held on the Environmental Health and Trading Standards department's account and that the property was now unoccupied.

The Committee agreed that the property be declared surplus to requirements and that it be remitted to the Director of Economic Development to dispose of the property.

II SUPPLY OF REPLACEMENT SHREDDER

There was submitted Report No 321-2006 by the Head of Waste Management seeking authority to purchase a replacement shredder at the Baldovie Waste Recycling and processing Plant within the Waste Management Department.

The Committee agreed to accept the offer from Blue Machinery (Scotland) Ltd, amounting to 135,000 (subject to inspection of existing machine).

III PURCHASE OF PORTACABIN AND SERVICES

There was submitted Report No 220-2006 by the Head of Waste Management seeking authority to purchase a portacabin for cabling, to service Marchbanks weighbridge.

The Committee agreed to accept the offers for supplies and services as follows:
