Door Stewards Registration Sub-committee - 09/11/2004

At a MEETING of the DOOR STEWARDS REGISTRATION SUB-COMMITTEE of the DUNDEE CITY LICENSING BOARDheld at Dundee on 9th November 2004.

I LICENSING (SCOTLAND) ACT 1976 - REGULAR EXTENSION - APPLICATION FOR DOOR STEWARD REGISTRATION(PROVISIONAL)

There was submitted an application by Mr GC for provisional registration as a door steward.

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application.

Thereafter, having noted that the applicant was not present, the Sub-Committee agreed to defer the application.

There was submitted an application by Mr DH for provisional registration as a door steward.

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter which had been submitted relative to this application.

Thereafter, having noted that the applicant was not present, the Sub-Committee agreed to refuse the application.

There was submitted an application by Mr RMC for provisional registration as a door steward.

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application. Part of the letter referred to convictions which were spent in terms of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and, after hearing from the Chief Constable's representative as to their age and nature, the Sub-Committee agreed they may be considered since justice could not otherwise be done.

Thereafter, having noted that the applicant was not present, the Sub-Committee agreed to refuse the application.
