At a MEETING of the DOOR STEWARDS REGISTRATION SUB-COMMITTEE of the DUNDEE CITY LICENSING BOARD held at Dundee on 29th June 2004.

I LICENSING (SCOTLAND) ACT 1976 - REGULAR EXTENSION - APPLICATION FOR DOOR STEWARDREGISTRATION (PROVISIONAL)

 

There was submitted an application by Mr PC for provisional registration as a door steward.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application.

 

Thereafter, having noted that the applicant was not present, the Sub-Committee agreed to refuse the application.

 

There was submitted an application by Mr CC for provisional registration as a door steward.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application.

 

Thereafter, having noted that the applicant was not present, the Sub-Committee agreed to refuse the application.

 

There was submitted an application by Mr BS for provisional registration as a door steward.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application. Part of the letter referred to convictions which were spent in terms of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and, after hearing from the Chief Constable's representative as to their age and nature, the Sub-Committee agreed they may be considered since justice could not otherwise be done.

 

Thereafter, having noted that the applicant was not present, the Sub-Committee agreed to refuse the application.

 

There was submitted an application by Mr RR for provisional registration as a door steward.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to letters which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application.

 

Thereafter, having heard from the applicant on his own behalf, the Sub-Committee agreed to grant the application.

 

There was submitted an application by Mr KF for provisional registration as a door steward.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application. II REVOCATION HEARINGS

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to letters which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to the conduct of Mr EI.

 

Thereafter, having noted that the licence holder was not present, the Sub-Committee agreed to take no further action as the licence had already expired.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to letters which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to the conduct of Mr DM.

 

Thereafter, having noted that the licence holder was not present, the Sub-Committee agreed to revoke the licence.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to letters which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to the conduct of Mr PB.

 

Thereafter, having noted that the licence holder was not present, the Sub-Committee agreed to revoke the licence.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to letters which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to the conduct of Mr ID.

 

Thereafter, the Sub-Committee having heard from the licence holder on their own behalf, agreed to take no action.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to letters from the Chief Constable relative to the conduct of Mr BG.

 

Thereafter, having heard from the licence holder on their own behalf, the Sub-Committee agreed to take no action.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to the conduct of Mr DR.

 

Thereafter, the Sub-Committee having heard from the licence holder on their own behalf, agreed to take no action.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to letters which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to the conduct of Mr WK.

 

Thereafter, the Sub-Committee having heard from the licence holder on their own behalf, agreed to take no action.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to letters which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to the conduct of Mr GC.

 

Thereafter, the Sub-Committee having noted that the licence holder was not present, agreed to defer the case.

 

III EXTENSION OF REGISTRATIONS

 

The Sub-Committee agreed to grant extensions of three months to existing licence holders to deal with outstanding training requirements.
