I MINUTE OF MEETING OF SCHOOL ATTENDANCE SUB-COMMITTEE OF 14TH SEPTEMBER 2004

The minute of the above meeting (Appendix I) was submitted for information.

The Committee resolved under Section 50(A) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 that the public and press be excluded during consideration of the undernoted item on the grounds that it involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in terms of Paragraph 1 of Part I of Schedule 7A of the Act.

II EARLY RETIREMENT

There was submitted Agenda Note AN367-2004 seeking approval from Committee that a Head Teacher be retired on the authority of Dundee City Council with effect from 8th January 2005 in accordance with the Teacher's (Compensation for Premature Retirement and Redundancy) (Scotland) Regulations 1996 on the grounds of efficiency of the service and in accordance with the terms detailed in the note.

The Committee approved the above proposal having noted the financial implications.
