I FUNDING TO TACKLE ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR
On a reference to Article VI of the minute of meeting of this Committee of 8th December 2003, there was submitted Report No 502-2004 by the Assistant Chief Executive (Community Planning) relative to the above.
The Committee agreed to apply for funding for the projects detailed in paragraph 6.3 of the report.
II GARDYNE'S LAND, 71 HIGH STREET
On a reference to Article I of the minute of meeting of the Planning and Transportation Committee of 1st December 2003, there was submitted Report No 508-2004 by the Director of Economic Development giving details of the restoration and future use of the above property and the requirements for the City Council's involvement in the development process.
The Committee agreed to provide an initial guarantee of 1,206,272 and authorised the Director of Economic Development together with the Depute Chief Executive (Finance) and Depute Chief Executive (Support Services) to complete the legal formalities and financial arrangements in relation to the restoration project, acquisition of the restored property and the lease and ultimate sale to Backpackers Limited.
