The Sub-Committee resolved under Section 50(a)(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act, 1973 that the public be excluded from the meeting for the undernoted item of business on the grounds that it would involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 3, 6, 9 and 14 of Part I of Schedule 7(a) of the Act.

(a) TAXI DRIVER'S LICENCE AND TAXI OPERATORS LICENCE - REQUEST FOR SUSPENSION HEARING

 

There was submitted a letter of complaint from the Chief Constable relative to the alleged conduct of Mr M D during the currency of his taxi driver's licence and taxi driver's operators licence.

 

The Sub-Committee, after hearing the Chief Constable's representative, agreed that the licence holder be referred for a medical and that a suspension hearing be convened at a future date in relation to the taxi driver's licence and taxi operators licence held by Mr M D.
