II INVITATION TO VISIT CITY OF KAKAMIGAHARA, JAPAN
There was submitted Agenda Note AN414-2003 intimating that arising from Dundee's involvement in the very successful Global Digital Cities Network an invitation had been received from the Mayor of the City of Kakamigahara for the Lord Provost or a representative to visit on the occasion of celebrations to mark the 40th Anniversary of the incorporation of Kakamigahara as a city.
The Council authorised the attendance of Bailie Farquhar, it being noted that guests would be hosted by the city authorities in Kakamigahara from 31st October to 2nd November, 2003 and travel costs would amount to approximately 550.
