School Attendance Sub-committee Of The Education Committee - 25/03/2003

At a MEETING of the SCHOOL ATTENDANCE SUB-COMMITTEE of the EDUCATION COMMITTEE held in CommitteeRoom 3, City Chambers, Dundee on Tuesday, 25th March 2003.

 

Present:-

 

Mr David MURDOCH, Mr Alan KEIR, Councillors Neil GLEN, and Rod WALLACE.

 

Mr MURDOCH in the Chair.

 

All items stand delegated.

 

The Sub-Committee resolved, under Section 50(A)(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973, that the public and press be excluded from the meeting for the undernoted item of business on the grounds that it involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 5 of Schedule 7A of the Act.

 

1 MINUTES OF MEETINGS OF SCHOOL ATTENDANCE SUB-COMMITTEE OF 25TH AND 26TH FEBRUARY 2003

 

The minutes of the above meetings were submitted for information.

 

2 EDUCATION (SCOTLAND) ACT 1980 - SCHOOL ATTENDANCE DEFAULT CASES

 

Following consideration of the undernoted school attendance default cases, the Sub-Committee resolved as follows:-
