II POLLING DISTRICTS AND POLLING PLACES

There was submitted Report No 23-2003 by the Returning Officer seeking approval from members to alter Polling Districts and Polling Places.

The Council approved the proposals set out in the schedule to the report subject to the Tay Bridges Ward Polling Station at 10 Constitution Road (Dundee Voluntary Action), being deleted and being replaced by the Marryat Hall.

III DUNDEE GUITAR FESTIVAL

There was submitted agenda note AN9-2003 intimating that the Dundee Guitar Festival had recently established a Company Limited by Guarantee to enable the further development of the Annual Guitar Festival in the City and the Director of Leisure and Arts had been approached to become the Director of the Company.

The Council approved accordingly.

IV DUNDEE ENERGY RECYCLING LIMITED

On a reference to Article IV of the minute of meeting of the City Council of 17th May 1999 there was submitted Agenda Note AN10-2003.

It was reported for information and record purposes that Mr James Laing, Operations Manager, Environmental and Consumer Protection Department had been appointed to the above Board in place of the Director of Environmental and Consumer Protection.

In addition it was reported for information and record purposes that Mr Laing had also been appointed to serve on the Boards of Dundee Waste Co. Ltd. and Dundee Electricity Co. Ltd.

The Council noted accordingly.
