The Sub-Committee resolved under Section 50A(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973, that the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the undernoted item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 1, 5 and 6 of Part I of Schedule 7(A) of the Act.

SOCIAL WORK CASE - UPDATE

On a reference to Article II of the minute of meeting of this Sub-Committee of 23rd November, 2000, there was submitted Report No.95-2001 by the Director of Social Work advising the Committee of the current circumstances with regard to that case.

The Committee agreed to note and approve the contents of the report.
