Housing, Dundee Contract Services And Environment Services Committee - 13/05/2002

I SUPPLY OF NEW CLASS IV/VII MOT TESTING BAY EQUIPMENT 2002/2003

There was submitted Report No 305-2002 by the Director of Dundee Contract Services informing the Committee of fixed prices submitted by suppliers for New Class IV/VII MOT Testing Bay Equipment required by Dundee Contract Services for the financial year 2002/2003.

The Committee agreed to accept the lowest offer of 12,531.75 which was received from Tecalemit Garage Equipment. Tenders were submitted by:-

Garage Equipment Services, Coventry

Gott Technical Services, Morpeth

Partco Limited, Dundee

Tecalemit Garage Equipment, Plymouth

MAHA UK Limited, Wisbech.

II SUPPLY OF LORRY MOUNTED CRANE 2002/2003

There was submitted Report No 256-2002 by the Director of Contract Services informing the Committee of a price submitted by a specialist lorry crane supplier for a New Lorry Mounted Crane required by Dundee Contract Services for the financial year 2002/2003.

The Committee agreed to accept the offer from Outreach plc, Falkirk, for a new lorry mounted crane for the sum of 42,926.00.

III ENVIRONMENTAL AND CONSUMER PROTECTION DEPARTMENT VEHICLE REPLACEMENTS 2002/2003

There was submitted Report No 449-2002 by the Director of Environmental and Consumer Protection seeking authority for leasing arrangements for two replacement refuse collection vehicles, one compact refuse collection vehicle, two replacement hookloader vehicles, one 7.5 tonne tipper, two replacement compact sweeping vehicles, one replacement 3.5 tonne box van and one replacement 3.5 tonne tipper.

The Committee agreed to accept the offers from the following suppliers as detailed below:-
