Cases Sub-committee - 27/03/2002

At a MEETING of the REGISTRATION AND CASES SUB-COMMITTEE of the SOCIAL WORK COMMITTEE held at Dundee on27th March, 2002.

Present:-

The Sub-Committee resolved under Section 50(A) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 that the public and press be excluded from the meeting in order that the undernoted item of business be considered in private on the grounds that it involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraphs 3, 5 and 7 of Part I of Schedule 7(A) of the Act.

I THE M FAMILY

There was submitted Report No. 249-2002 by the Director of Social Work which detailed progress in relation to the M family.

The Sub-Committee:-

(a) noted and approved the contents of the report;

(b) agreed that payment of 9,413.25 be made to NCH Action for Children (Scotland).

II REGISTRATION OF RESIDENTIAL AND OTHER ESTABLISHMENTS

(a) CANCELLATION OF REGISTRATION

It was reported that approval had been requested for voluntary cancellation of registration of a residential home.

The Sub-Committee agreed the de-registration of the residential home effective from 31st March, 2002.

(b) VARIATION OF REGISTRATION - CHANGE OF MANAGER

It was reported that approval had been requested to register a new manager of a residential home.

The Sub-Committee agreed the registration of a new manager of a residential home.
