Cases Sub-committee - 19/12/2001

At a MEETING of the REGISTRATION AND CASES SUB-COMMITTEE of the SOCIAL WORK COMMITTEE held at Dundee on 19th December, 2001.

The Sub-Committee resolved under Section 50(A)(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 that the public and press be excluded from the meeting in order that the undernoted item of business be considered in private on the grounds that it involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 3 of Part I of Schedule 7(A) of the Act.

I EXTERNAL PURCHASE OF HOME CARE SERVICES

There was submitted Report No 821-2001 by the Director of Social Work requesting authorisation to make payments in respect of three clients whose home care services would exceed the agreed limit of 336.

The Sub-Committee authorised payment in the three cases detailed until either alternative care arrangements can be made or the cost of the package can be reduced to below the authorised limit.
