I SEMINAR - NEW PUBLIC SAFETY PARTNERSHIP
It was reported that the Scottish Forum for Modern Government was organising a seminar on the above subject on 16th May 2001 in Tulliallan.
The Committee authorised the attendance of the Convener, or nominee, at an estimated cost, excluding travel and subsistence, of 145 per delegate.
II PURCHASE OF ANTI-VIRUS SOFTWARE - TENDERS
There was submitted Report No 247-2001 by the Acting Director of Information Technology.
The Committee;-
(1)approved the acceptance of Tender ITD/2001/03 amounting to 23,000 from Network Associates for the purchase of IT Software for the Education Sector; and
(2)approved the acceptance of Tender ITD/2001/03 amounting to 56,324 from Computer Security Technology Limited for the purchase of IT Software for the Corporate Sector.
