Notes:
AIMS: We offer advice, support and structured intervention for individuals and families affected in any way by alcohol misuse and other related issues. We offer 1-1 counselling, group work programmes (including mutual aid groups), creative therapies and family group sessions. We have a range of services designed to support children and young people impacted by parental substance misuse or vulnerable as a result of their own behaviour/circumstances. This includes a dedicated service supporting those living in Kinship Care. Additionally we work closely with Criminal Justice Services in the City to support people to overcome offending using a mentoring approach. We are the lead organisation for the Safezone Bus which supports people in distress within the city centre area on a Friday and Saturday evening (10pm- 4am).

What They Do:
We have lots of volunteering opportunities, and support volunteering for people with their own lived experience of substance misuse or offending. Volunteers can: Help in our admin/reception office. Train as a mentor supporting vulnerable young people. Get involved with our group programmes for adults or children/young people. Train as volunteer befriender with our adult service. Complete our counselling training programme to develop skills as an alcohol counsellor. Volunteer on the Safezone Bus.
