Hours:
Monday to Friday:- 10am - 12noon and 2pm - 4pm. Saturday:- 10am - 12noon. Outwith hours with an appointment.
Notes:
AIMS: To meet others interested in the collection and research of Monifieth Local History. To present recorded findings to members of the public, by talks, exhibitions and publications. To research and give information on Back to your Roots.
OTHER INFO: Since formation in September 2000, the Society have held exhibitions, visited and given talks to schools and organisations, and been awarded Grampian Television Adult Learner award diploma,nominated for The Queens Award for Voluntary Service 2006 and nomination for Nationwide Award for Voluntary Endeavour 2006. Trips and talks the first and third Wednesday of each month. Programmes available. Talks on varied local history topics can be arranged for groups and organisations.
