Notes:
AIMS: To meet with and encourage those with a common interest in birds, (Ornithology), their welfare,
preservation, protection and conservation of their habitats in Angus and Tayside. This goal is achieved with the programme the Club provides in the form of field outings led by experienced leaders whose responsibility it is to help in the identification of the bird species seen during the course of these outings, in addition over the autumn and winter months the indoor programme is taken by experienced speakers who lay on interesting talks/slideshows covering bird topics, bird identification, trips abroad and local theme subjects . Non-members are welcome to attend these fixtures, both indoor and field outings. A newsletter is published three times a year giving details of outings and meetings.
OTHER INFO: The club now operates a contact mobile phone system to alert members who have a mobile phone and who wish to be informed directly when an unusual passage migrants or vagrant bird is found in Dundee/Angus.
For more information and application form contact Dorothy Fyffe, details above.
