I PLANNING AND TRANSPORTATION CAREER GRADE AND STAFFING STRUCTURE

Reference was made to Article II of the minute of meeting of this Committee of 14th January, 2002 wherein Joint Report No. 754-2001 on the abovementioned subject by the Directors of Planning and Transportation and Personnel and Management Services was approved.

There was submitted Report No. 146-2002 by the Directors of Planning and Transportation and Personnel and Management Services detailing a number of revisions to the original proposals, following further consultations.

The Committee agreed to suspend Standing Order No. 38 to consider this item and approved the recommendations as detailed in Report No. 146-2002.

II INVITATION TO THE 8TH EUROPEAN CONGRESS ON EPILEPSY AND SOCIETY

It was reported that the Manager of the Employment Disability Unit had been invited to deliver a Workshop at the 8th European Congress on Epilepsy and Society at Lloret de Mar, Spain, from 17th - 19th May, 2002.

The Committee approved his participation, having noted that travel and accommodation costs would be met by the Congress organisers.
