II APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR - BOARD OF DOVETAIL ENTERPRISES

It was reported that Councillor Rolfe had resigned from the above Board.

The Council agreed that the vacancy be filled by Councillor Regan.

III LOCAL GOVERNMENT FINANCE INQUIRY - LOCAL GOVERNMENT FINANCE SETTLEMENT - ELECTED MEMBER TASK GROUP

It was reported that Councillor Regan had been appointed by the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities to serve on the above group and the Council agreed that attendance at meetings be considered an approved duty.

The Lord Provost agreed that the undernoted item be considered as a matter of urgency in terms of Standing Order No. 17(b) in view of the timescales involved.

IV TWINNING PARTNERSHIPS AND MOZART FESTIVAL

It was reported that the Lord Provost, her husband and a Council Officer had been invited to visit Wrzburg towards the end of this month as guests of that city in connection with the above events.

The Council agreed that invitations be accepted.
