There was submitted Report No 222-2001 by the Director of Finance seeking authorisation to grant charity relief on the undernoted non-domestic property.

II CONFERENCE - CIPFA

 

It was reported that the above conference would be held in Bournemouth on 13th and 14th June 2001.

 

The Committee authorised the attendance of one member of the Majority Group, one member of the Major Opposition Group and one member of the Minority Group at an estimated cost, excluding travel and subsistence, of 495 per delegate.

 

III GRANTS

 

(a) ROYAL BRITISH LEGION SCOTLAND - DUNDEE FESTIVAL OF REMEMBRANCE

 

It was agreed that a grant of 700 be made in respect of the cost of hiring the Caird Hall Complex on 3rd November 2001 together with ancillary costs.

 

(b) DUNDEE CITIZENS ADVICE BUREAU

 

After considering Report No 234-2001 by the Director of Finance the Committee agreed that a revenue grant amounting to 101,850 be paid to the Dundee Citizens Advice Bureau.
