Community Safety Wardens

Wardens patrol seven days per week (1.00pm to 10.45pm) 365 days per year. Community Safety Wardens work specifically to target the low level crime and antisocial behaviour that gradually, over time, drags an area down. Things like vandalism, graffiti and litter.

They do this by:

  • Patrolling the streets
  • Getting to know the local community - young , elderly and business
  • Being a friendly and listening point of contact
  • Reporting incidents to relevant agencies for action

And by being highly visible in their distinctive uniforms offering a reassuring presence that makes people feel safe.
